“Mommy, the president drank my chocolate milk…”
“Let’s go get some dumbass pie!”
“Unless this is the reality in which…”
“I’m filming this man eating a hamburger. It’s…transcendent.”

Lololol, I’m gonna be quoting Men in Black 3 for a while. It was a pretty good movie. :)
Griffin was my favorite character. His ability was pretty cool.
And that ending…oh lord, that ending with the colonel and the boy and—oh, I almost cried because I’m such a softie.

Also, I would just like to thank the people who made the movie for confirming my suspicion that Lady Gaga is an extraterrestrial. Lol.

I struggle a lot with religion and its central ideas and concepts.

Like, right now, with everyone freaking out over the Chapel’s closing down the beloved YMAD program, the leaders are all saying that it’s what God wants, that they’ve prayed about it for so long, etc. The notion obviously soothes some of the younger kids, but I for one have trouble just rolling over and accepting that “oh, well, it must be for the best because they said Jesus said so.”
Can you really assert with 100% confidence that something is what God wants because you said some prayers about it and got this little funny feeling in your chest and chose to interpret it as the Almighty speaking to you?
How do you know it’s really not just your subconscious masquerading as divine guidance?

Edit: To clarify, I’m not an atheist. I believe in God, but I’m more of a deist in my approach to him, in that he created the world, set it in motion, gave us free will, then stepped back to watch as we developed on our own.

Awwwh.
My little brother’s so sweet.
He bought me one of those little solar powered nodding flowers with his tickets from the carnival last weekend, so now I have a little daisy waggling away by my rear windshield. :3

Hi, my name is Makaley and I like to stay up until 1 in the morning knocking back shots of Malibu while simultaneously decorating Angry Birds cakes.

My Favorite books…
#8 The Mermaid Chair, Sue Monk Kidd
She also wrote The Secret Life of Bees and both books are sadly moving, as well as heart touching.

Currently reading this book.  I really like it so far.
